Miss Cebu 2010

Once again, Cebu is soon be conducting its yearly beauty pageant - Miss Cebu 2010. Below are the qualifications:

  • Single, between the ages of 18 and 25;
  • pleasing personality with a minimum height of 5’3”;
  • Good moral character;
  • At least a graduating High School student and articulate in English;
  • A resident of Cebu for not less than one year;
  • Willing to travel and to reign for a full term of one year;
  • Must be a Filipino citizen;
  • Must not be a participant/applicant of a beauty search during the duration of the pageant.

Sr. San Vicente Parish Church of Bogo City, Cebu

Established as a parish on May 31, 1850, Bogo’s patron was San Vicente Ferrer . Its old church, located near the town plaza, was described as having walls of tabique pampango, posts of wood, and a roof of thatch cogon. The current church of Bogo was built in the post-war era. The shrine is situated on top of a hill and one must climb more than a hundred steps of its stairway to reach the giant statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
