What: Cebu Guitar Festival 2009

When: November 24,25,26,27,28 2009.

This 5 day event would includes indoor performances by Cebu’s Top Guitarist both acoustic and electric bands covering the whole spectrum of the music genre as well as 3 day outdoor concert will all the performances becoming a collaboration of our local musicians. There would also be a Photo Exhibit/Contest which is open for both amateur and professional photographers. Guitar workshop, Guitar Exhibit and the search for the Ultimate Rakista Contest with the national champion taking home Php 120,000 in cash and a chance to rule the rock world with Jim Beam-the true spirit of rock n’ roll.

Shrine of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal , Bogo City Cebu

Shrine of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal: A place for meditation and reflection. The Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal is located in La Paz, Bogo City, Cebu. The shrine is situated on top of a hill and one must climb more than a hundred steps of its stairway to reach the giant statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Sr. San Vicente Parish Church of Bogo City, Cebu

Established as a parish on May 31, 1850, Bogo’s patron was San Vicente Ferrer . Its old church, located near the town plaza, was described as having walls of tabique pampango, posts of wood, and a roof of thatch cogon. The current church of Bogo was built in the post-war era. Bogo City celebrates its annual town fiesta every fourth Sunday of May in honor of its patron saint San Vicente Ferrer.
